Now Recruiting:
Late-Diagnosed Autistic Adults
for Participation in Doctoral Research Study
About
the study
This study is looking at the lived experience of late-diagnosed autistic adults. Participants will be asked to engage in two 30-60 minute individual zoom interviews, and 8 hours of in-person group meetings (spread across two days) over the course of the study. This research is being conducted as part of a doctoral dissertation, and aims to provide increased understanding within and beyond the autistic community from the lived experience perspective.
-
This study is aimed at the experiences of autistic adults, age 20 and older.
-
This study is looking at the lived experience of late-diagnosed autistic adults. For this reason I am looking to connect with anyone who received their autism diagnosis at age 20 or older.
-
*Note: I fully affirm self-diagnosis as valid. For this specific study, a formal diagnosis from a licensed professional is required due to research design limitations - not because self-identified experiences aren't valid or valued. They absolutely are.
